I come from an incredible family with an incredible story. My mom was a single mom raising 4 kids. She met a man when I was 10 and married him a couple of years later. This man took the four of us under his wing and loved us as if he were biologically his. They had one child together and we made a family. He is truly a man of honor, integrity and courage. He grew up in a rough home and left at an early age. He lived on the streets of New York at the age of 14. He then joined the military and became an honored man. A month ago my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His prognosis was grim. They gave him 6 months to live. My parents are fighters and are refusing to accept that outcome. They have started seeking alternative medicine. The cost of these alternative practices is a lot and insurance won't cover these methods. I am writing you today to ask for your help. They have tried to get into the Cancer Centers of American but they cannot b/c they don't have the correct insurance nor do they have a reserve of $250,000. So we are at a stand still as of now. My dad has survived an abusive home, the streets of New York, combat and countless other things please help him survive this cancer. I watch your show religiously and I am a huge fan of you. You find such joy in helping those in need. I appreciate you and all you do for this world. Even if you don't respond, I know that your help is going to someone who needs it.
